Mark Leen was taught to sing at the tender age of four by his mother, and remembers the effect on family and friends when he got up to sing. His first steps into the world of stage began at nine when he sang Elvis Presley's "Blue Suede Shoes" and the Platters "Only You" at an uncles wedding. “I just cut out sideburns from a chocolate wrapper and stuck them on my face” recalls Mark. He entered many talent competitions and in 1992 made his first appearance on RTE as a guest of Gerry Ryan's "Secrets". At age 22 Mark left home to study Drama, Singing and Dancing in London England, at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. He became the first Irish person to ever attend the 3-year full time course. He has appeared on SKY, GMTV, ITV, BBC, Channel 4, RTE, TV3, TG4, Special Guest for Ideal World Shopping Channel and Nationwide R.T.E. Television.

His voice is a regular feature on MTV and VH1, whenever they run "Elvis Day". His Christmas Advert on Radio Kerry was one of the stations most popular ever, and was sent up for a Radio Award.
